Buff Competitive Cyclist Neck Warmer $0.00
We make no qualms about it, we love versatility in our apparel. However, we find it disappointing that cycling apparel is strictly regimented by season. By this, we mean that fall/winter gear is reserved for the fall and winter, and summer gear is designated for the summer. Thankfully, though, there're pieces like the Buff Neck Warmer that challenge this prevailing design ideology. Basically, you're able to wear the Buff in nearly any imaginable manner or condition, whether it be spring, summer, or winter. And even better, we recently collaborated with Buff on this exclusive Competitive Cyclist design. So, you're able to rep your favorite shop, while also conquering the elements.
Now, we understand how the designation of 'neck warmer' would lead you to believe that the Buff is exclusive to warming your neck. But, because of its tubular knit and seamless construction, the Buff conforms to nearly any shape. Additionally, it features a polyester microfiber composition that makes it adaptable to both hot and cold conditions. So, come wintertime, you're able to wear it over your neck and face in order to block out the wind. Meanwhile, in the summertime, the microfiber retains its wind-resistance, only it efficiently wicks moisture away from the skin. That's why we see so many riders using them as buffers under their helmets. Yes, this means that you're free to replicate the late styling of Il Pirata, or to simply use the Buff as a headband, beanie, neck warmer, or face mask. However you choose to wear it, you'll bolster your comfort against the elements.
The Competitive Cyclist Buff Neck Warmer is available in one size and one color.

This was a great clothing item for fans of Competitive cyclist who don't want to get all kitted out
- Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Looked like a cool item and needed another Christmas gift for my wife. She loves it! She likes headbands, kerchiefs, etc., when she cycles or runs and this has become a favorite. Very comfy, versatile, some warmth but not a gaiter. We live at the ocean and get a ton of wind. This keeps the wind off her neck and she thinks it looks cool. Me too.
Durable, Comfy, and Full of CC Support

I have to admit that buffs/neck warmers were far from my wish list due to my initial skepticism of the use for them (thought they kind of looked funny too), but when I took this buff out for my first few cold rides of the winter, I was amazed at why I had gone without one before.
I have a 5 mile commute to/from my work 5 days a week. Once the weather dips below 35 degrees, I usually shift to driving to work and breaking out the mag trainer. This year, however, I have been able to keep riding at least 3 or 4 days due to this buff. It provides warmth from the biting cold air and protects the face from wind really well and I have found a good 4 or 5 ways to wear this on varying temperature or longer rides. It sports the CC logo, which makes it a flashy scarf to wear at work when you need just a little extra comfort.
In short, if you ride in cold weather part of the year, are skeptic like I was, or just want another buff to add to your collection, this is the ticket.

Just the right amount of insulation and wind blocking on a cold morning ride to work. I've been struggling to find just the right face/neck coverage for my colder rides, first item I've found that isnt bulky and doesnt constrict motion or restrict breathing.
This is something you need to fend of frost and biting chill.
It's soft and comfy and exceptionally versatile. I've used it as a bandanna, a neck warmer and headband to keep the hair out of my face. I use it skiing, biking, climbing, hiking and running. It's one of those types of purchases that pays for itself, I've gotten countless use out of this thing.
