For long rides and runs that span different lighting conditions, or that run that takes you in and out of canyon areas, stopping to change the lenses in your sunglasses is often a necessary evil. Briko, whose sunglasses you may recall being perched on the likes of Cipollini in the 1990s, has taken varying conditions into account and created the T-Gun Adaptive Sunglasses — in a modern fit and style.
The T-gun Adaptives are so-named because of their photochromic THRAMA Adaptive AF-V lenses. Rather than you having to stop and change lenses, or worse yet, place them on top of your head or helmet and risk being hit in the eyes by debris, the lenses actually adjust the color and absorption when the sunlight varies. You'll see clearly through forested sections and be protected from harsh rays in open areas.
Briko's "Matic" lenses, as it abbreviates them, are nested inside of a Grilamid frame. This is a thermoplastic polymer that is both shatterproof and resistant to warping. They feature comfortable, adjustable nose pieces and rubber temple arm ends to prevent pinching behind your ears.
The Briko T-Gun Adaptive Sunglasses are available in the color Matte Hematite/matte black.
