Broken Rubber Band

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love the design, and it's easier to install than other bags I've tried, and fits perfectly my ride essentials (CO2+extra canister, multi tool, patch kit).

I love the rubber strap/hook mechanic, but after a couple months of probably quad-weekly use the rubber snapped while I was trying to put it on my bike. I also noticed that the front of the bag was pretty chaffed from my seat post, but that is to be expected. Five stars if the rubber lasted longer.

Perfect size, and cheap.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Enough space for a spare tube, patch kit, small multi-tool, 2 tire levers, iphone, presta to schrader valve adapter, credit card & ID. I have a mini-pump on my frame and keep $20 in my handlebar. I knew if I got a bigger bag I wouldn't be able to resist filling it. Tempted to take a star off for having slightly less than 35L volume as described.

Does not damage my cycling bibs!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've had issues with saddle bags damaging and eventually tearing a hole in my cycling shorts and bibs from the velcro that attaches around the seat post. The velcro would rub my inner thigh as a ride and in time, damage and tear a hole in my shorts/bibs. This saddle bag is good for me because it uses a rubber strap to secure the bag around the seat post instead of a velcro strap. If you have the same issue give this saddle bag a try.
