Why We Like The Local Grocery 16L Pannier Bag

Blackburn's designs are not only practical, they're functional and inventive. We like to think that the true signs of a cycling aficionado aren't necessarily the most expensive parts or the most boutique gear, but the implementation of the smartest and most practical gear that makes bike life more enjoyable. The Blackburn Local Grocery Pannier is such an item. It's a tough, weatherproof, well-made cargo bag that looks good, attaches easily to a rear rack, is collapsible, and includes a fold-away shoulder strap. It's also compatible with Blackburn's ingenious Interlock rack system that allows you to lock items to the rack without immobilizing the bike. We like this pannier for its ingenuity and durability.

Straight forward big no pockets side bag

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

It is what it is supposed to be, a large pannier that fits a lot of stuff. I use it everyday even when I'm not biking. Nice rugged material on the main body. I was a little disappointed that it didn't have the mesh on the draw string panel, instead it had sort of a nylon liner type material. The mesh would have been nice for airing out sweaty work boots and clothes but the nylon is decent at keeping water out.
