Description

White knuckles the old-fashioned way

You earn your wings by pointing it downhill and hanging on for dear life, not for wrapping your fist around your brake levers and praying. Let the confidence-inducing, hydraulic stopping power from the Avid Code R Disc Brakes be your parachute, should you choose to deploy.

  • Unlike your collarbone, Bend Zone levers fully flex upon impact to prevent a catastrophic break
  • Avid's G3 Cleansweep rotors dissipate heat allowing you to confidently brake long and hard
  • Matchmaker comparability keeps your handlebars clutter-free (clamps sold separately)

Great brakes

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had these brakes on my bike , Intense 951, for over a year now. They did great all summer long in the bike park. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. Easy to setup, great modulation, and they last a while before needing to be bled.

Best brakes for DH

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

As for me - it is best brakes for DH. SRAM is my favorites brand... and Code is most strong and fast brakes. Really champion in this class.
