We can't say for sure, but we'd imagine that Attaquer's Sydney-based founding duo may have taken inspiration for its Windsurfer Kit from the assortment of bright sails that often dot the coves of Sydney Harbor, and we must admit, the colorful design sets itself apart from other kits you'll see out on the roads. Whether you like windsurfing or just appreciate Attaquer's cheeky take on cycling clothing, the Windsurfer jersey and shorts were both carefully constructed to withstand the demands of riding and racing, with Italian Lycra construction and a body contour fit to keep you in the utmost comfort while you ride.

The Italian Lycra that Attaquer uses to craft its kit boasts a host of benefits over less-expensive polyester blends. Lycra is known for its ability to hold its shape over long periods of time without stretching or sagging, so when you head out on an all-day ride, you can be assured that your jersey won't begin to bunch and cause chafing a few hours in. Further, this Lycra was engineered to maintain its color over repeated washes; in a kit defined by its saturated graphics, this is certainly worth mention. Other touches like a UPF 50+ rating show Attaquer's familiarity with the demands of cycling, while a full-length zipper and elasticized rear hem demonstrate the brand's attention to comfort. New this year, Attaquer lengthened the arms and lowered the neckline of its jersey cut, but it retains the close, body contour fit that would be at home in a race or a casual ride alike.

On the bottom half, square-cut Lycra panels are stitched together to form supportive, body conscious fit, with flatlock seaming preventing chafing and irritation. Attaquer uses perforated mesh to shape the lightweight bib straps, and we applaud its decision to include sleek, clean, raw-edge leg hems backed by thermo-taped grippers to keep you from having to tug your short legs in place every time you stand up to power through a climb. Attaquer doesn't skimp on chamois quality in any of its kit, and the Windsurfer is no exception; a layer of triple-density foam luxuriously lessens pressure and provides support in the places you need it, all while moving with you throughout your pedal stroke.
