Skinsuit

Everyone laughed when Cavendish started wearing skinsuits to races, but then he won himself a world title, and now it’s unusual not to see the guys expecting to be competitive in a race against the clock wearing anything but a skinsuit. With the Attaquer Skinsuit, you can have the same comfortable fit that you get with a regular Attaquer kit, but with the added aero-ness to give you that few seconds advantage that could mean the difference between winning and finishing out of the money.

Attaquer used the same technology to design its skinsuit as it did the rest of its kits. With the body contoured, square panel cut, the skinsuit will shape to your body particularly when you are in the tuck hammering the pedals. The 3/4 sleeves will increase the aerodynamics of the piece without putting you in a position where you are likely to overheat. It is cut from premium Italian made fabric, which has a focus on being comfortable while you’re in the saddle. It’s lightweight, breathable and durable at the same time. A modicum of compression reduces muscle fatigue after long hours on the bike. Since Attaquer is at least as much about looking good as feeling good on the bike, it has used material that will not fade in the wash, even after repeated use. The custom zip pulls make it easy to grab the zipper and ventilate at will. And in case you are lucky enough to be riding in the constant Aussie sun, the jersey has a 50+ High UV protection rating.

As for the short portion, they too have laser cut legs with a thermos-taped gripper will look sharp and fit better. For the insert, the folks at Attaquer have chosen to use an insert that has a triple density construction. With three different thicknesses, the chamois can be fashioned to provide the perfect cushioning depending what it is protecting. In particular, they have developed it to reduce the pressure on the perinea region while still provided support and protection to the ischia bones.
