We can't help but get excited when Assos introduces new products, and if you're reading this, you probably can't either. Just in time for the approaching cool down of the year, Assos gives us the armUno_s7 Arm Warmers. Moving away from the ideology of over-engineering at the cost of pricepoint alienation, the armUno_s7 design is equally suited for both the Assos-curious or experienced Assos loyalist alike.

Made from a blend of ultra-stretchy, warming materials, the armUno_s7 provides an uncompromising fit that assists in staving off the chills. Basically, like all Assos pieces, the arm warmers are engineered to fit like a second skin. This close contact with skin, coupled with a low-volume construction, ensures the maximum in both breathability and thermo-regulation.

The armUno_s7 falls into a new line of Assos engineering, ASSOSoires UNO -- an extension of the venerable UNO line. Basically, the pathway of engineering has been simplified to approach the same end. So, Assos can provide the same superior quality for the more 'everyday' cyclist. Better yet, you'll find that the arm warmers still follow the Assos Layering System and ClimaRange -- in this case, ClimaRange 1. This means that the recommended temperature range falls roughly between 60 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit when worn alone. However, they can be added accordingly within the system to boost the ClimaRange of your other Assos pieces. For more information on the Assos Layering System, please head over to the official Assos website.

The Asssos armUno_s7 Arm Warmers are available in the color Black Volkanga and in the sizes 0 (X-Small - Small), I (Medium - Large), and II (X-Large to XX-Large).

Decent Warmers

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

Let's face it, arm warmers are not overly complex. Do these Assos warmers fit well and stay in place? Yes. The length of the warmers is excellent and covers to the wrist.

The quality of the material appears decent. However, I've experienced the same logo issues reported in the previous review. I don't really care about the logo so I'm not deducting too many points for that (I would deduct even less if there wasn't a round "glue stain" left behind though). It should be noted that the picture on the product page does not reflect what I received. I believe the picture is outdated as it resembles a pair of Assos warmers I purchased about two years ago. I was expecting the same product. But if you want a cheaper pair of warmers that do the job, and don't care about the logo, these are fine.

Great warmers. Fatal cosmetic flaw.

The weight and fit of these warmers are ideal. They've been absolutely perfect in transitional Midwest weather (40F-55F). However, the reflective Assos logos fall off in the wash (yes, yes: 30C, front loader, no dryer, etc.). Thinking I may have gotten a bad set, I returned my first order for replacement. Unfortunately, same issue. I like them enough that I may keep them, but they look like crap.
