Hold it good.

The Arundel Sport Water Bottle Cage is a nylon-reinforced plastic version of the famous Arundel Dave-O carbon cage. The Sport will hold all sizes of bottles securely and will last the life of your bike. It weighs 50g, about 20g heavier than the average carbon cage, but the upsides are its style, and its substantial cost savings. The Sport also has two sets of mounting holes to allow the best fit for your frame. The Arundel Sport Water Bottle Cage is available in the following nylon injection molded colors: Black, Blue, Red, and White.

  • Same shape as the Dave-O cage to securely hold bottles
  • Two sets of mounting holes allow the best fit possible
  • Nylon reinforced plastic ensures durability

  • Wraparound shape
  • Two sets of mounting holes
  • Nylon reinforced plastic

Light and solid fit

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It's really a good cage. Cheap, light, solid construction. I can't complain at all. It's a great product.

Hold 'em

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

There is only one thing a bottle cage is meant to do; hold your bottle. After that comes durability, weight, and style. Black plastic cages can either do a great job, or a terrible job with not much middle ground. For $17 there aren't many that do it as well as Arundel. If I'm not buying a carbon cage, I'm buying the Arundel Sport cage.

holds the bottle

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

What more can you ask? It does what it says it does and it doesn't cost your arm and leg, just your pinkie finger.

Does this come with hex bolts for mounting (eg. 5MM) to frame?

Responded on

These do come with the appropriate bolts for mounting to the frame.

Best bottle cage for the price

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Holds a camelbak podium chill like a glove. Doesn't look even slightly out of place on my full carbon bike. Feels solid, looks great. Unless you're a total weight weenie there's no reason to buy any other cage.

Responded on

Like the weight weenie comment! Like all these so called "bike stallions" think shaving weight off their rides is going to make them world class champions.

Does the job at at good price

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I like the look of this cage a lot, and it won't break the bank like carbon cages. Does its job well; no complaints.

cool cage

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

holds the water bottle tight. I would recommend this highly.

Looks expensive

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great price and hot looks to upgrade your existing cages. I previously had alloy cages that were pretty ugly and were difficult to get my bottles out of. These are way sexy, look just like the expensive carbon version, hold your bottles snugly and let go without a huge battle. My bike is matte black and these match perfectly. They hold my huge Camelbak bottles perfectly and standard bike shop bottles without a problem.

These hold my bottles on the (gasp) cross bike really well. They slide in and out easily but have yet to loose a bottle even on bumpy terrain. The dual mount option is also a nice feature as I use different holes depending on the frame.

Great retention

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I hate loosing bottles to cheap cages and railroad tracks. these work extremely well and are inexpensive. Good for mountain or road, and they look good too!

Economical and Practical

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This bottle cage from Arundel works well securing my water bottles under the roughest terrain. They aren't as stylish as carbon cages, but are a fraction of the price, are offered in a handful of different colors, and perform just as well. The color is more of a textured composite construction so the color options aren't necessarily as flashy as you'd maybe prefer. I like to stick the Black color as it goes with any bike I stick it on.
