Alpinestars A-line Knee/Shin Guard $49.95
Yes, we all know you have impressive skills on two wheels, but do you really want another trip to the ER for stitches after miscalculating an air while trying a new stunt? No ... we didn't think so either. Think before you saddle up and strap on the Alpinestars A-Line Knee/Shin Guards. Specifically designed for kamikaze riders or those just getting into the sport, the A-line has a tough outer polypropylene shell for protection backed with a soft Biofoam padding for extra comfort. Vented plastic panels promote cooling when you're on the go, and an adjustable hook-and-loop strapping system ensures the A-line stays put.

What community has to say
Construction seems good and they were pretty comfortable but the knee pad seems disproportionately wide so they got returned. The Fox Launch has a slimmer profile for a good price.
Great Set of Pads
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Got these for downhill riding, the small/medium was a little tight so I went to a large, Im 5?11? 170Lbs. They are really comfortable and I don?t notice them when im riding. I have only worn them in cool conditions so I cant speak for them in hot weather but they seem as though they would breathe well. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone in the market for it.

yes, these are a PAIR when you order them. I really wish they would produce 4 sizes instead of 2 as its difficult to find pads that fit my calf and thigh perfectly, but they are much more comfortable than my previous fox guards.

you not answer my question
I need to know this too...just made the purchase and not sure if I am getting one or two..
You get two shin guards.
Size is off
I ordered a L/XL and these are way to small on me. I have huge calve muscles and the straps barely went to the velcro. The construction of the product was great just a bit to small for comfort. Im sticking with my 661 Kyle's.
Awesome for the price
These are very good and fit well. They are pretty hot in the summer and a little awkward at first but before you know it you've forgot you're wearing them. They dont impede pedaling in anyway.
A bit bulky, almost as big as the ones I use for moto. Comfy but move around a bit while pedaling. I use flat pedals, so would recommend something that extends lower on your legs. If you use clips, they're fine.
Alpinestars A-line Knee/Shin Guard
Great Pads... Cant say enough about them. Every knee shin pad I have ever had has the problem of falling down, sliding down as you ride. These stay up no problem. I wore them in FL freeride pit and at Snowshoe for 4 days. Didn't have to mess with them at all. Stayed on and did there job if I went down, and I did twice!
