Great hiking shoes!

These are great shoes if you're looking for a good grip while hiking. The wide bottom makes it possible to walk down a steep mountain and not slip. True to size. Love the tan color, but does get dirty.

    Perfect Hiking Shoes

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

These shoes shoes hug your feet! They are extremely lightweight and have a very grippy tread. They are perfect for hiking. If you are looking for a shoe that provides a lot of ankle support and stability, these are not for you. If you are looking for a lightweight day-hike shoe that you can scramble up a rock face or dominate a trail, you will love them!

    Excellent Mid Season Shoe

Wanted to post the pic to show how tall the tong of the shoe comes up. They are great for hiking during wet and rainy seasons, and when the snow is melting. I have found that they are great for hiking in spring because its warm and dry at the base of the trail head and becomes more snowy the higher elevation you gain. So they work well transitioning into the different elements.

Like a glove, just size down!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 8.5

The fit is amazing, glove like and unique. I would recommend a half size down though. I ordered an 8.5 and after a day I have realized they need to be exchanged for an 8.0. The tread is aggressive and sticky but the shoe is super light.

    Mud Claws

    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 6.5

These are quite a dramatic change from my minimalist zero drop trail running shoes. But I actually like them quite a bit. The fit does run large. I got a 6.5, and they have quite a bit of room in the toe box. I could probably size down to a 6. Which is kind of nuts since I generally range from a size 6.5-7. I think the large toe box/extra space is for thick socks since they are for running in the mountains, but thick running socks are not really my thing. I think they can get in the way, so I’ve just been running with that extra room; since the material is so stretchy it doesn’t really cause much of an issue with my toes hitting the front. The high tung is really nice for keeping out excess water and mud. The neoprene like material is great because it allows for breathability when you do get stuck in the rain, or are running through mud, or across streams. The shoe has great stability and excellent tread. The extra lip on the back is great for running downhill. I do get blisters on the back of my heels from how tall the shoe is, however that could be because of the loose fit. They also look super cute. Im not use to such big running shoes, but I don’t mind it. They are VERY lightweight, so the extra material isn’t big and clunky. I am very pleased with these.

    Great Versatile Shoe

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Really happy with this shoe so far! It is super lightweight but has a nice cushy sole which provides great arch and heel support. I really like the structure of the shoe and the material that Adidas used for this shoe. The material is really breathable and airy, so I don't have to worry about these shoes getting stinky quickly. While the shoe is light and breathable it is sturdy enough to support your ankles. I haven't hit thee trails with these shoes yet, but I love how much grip they have. I can really feel the soles gripping the pavement, and have no doubt they will hold up great on rocky paths.
My only complaint with the shoe is it runs a little large. I usually wear a 7 and I have a some extra room in the toe-box with these shoes. I have just been making sure to wear thicker socks, and I have not had any problems. The loose structure also allows me to really cinch down the laces so the my foot is secure and not moving around.
