Brezza Team I Handlebar

When speed and weight are at the top of your priorities list, which is pretty much every triathlon ever raced, the 3T Brezza Team I Handlebar is for you.

It's the same version that the sponsored pro teams use. The base bar is flat and wide, and it provides a secure, comfortable grip for when you're climbing out of saddle or resting between efforts. It's not UCI-compliant, so if you're looking for a bar in the 3:1 ratio, check out 3T's Brezza II. 

And while some riders prefer all carbon bars for their lightweight properties, 3T's Brezza I features carbon for the base bar and elbow pads, but aluminum for the extensions. Although they're slightly heavier than their carbon counterparts, they're effectively stronger and stiffer. If you torque down on them in the final kilo, you'll feel secure knowing that they're able to handle the pressure.

When you're going into an event as precise as time trials, you need to get all of the numbers dialed-in before you get the bars in your hands. With this in mind, 3T made the Brezza in both a 40 and 42cm width. This way, you're able to customize the fit to your shoulder width. The drop of the base bar is 0mm and the reach is 160mm. Brezzas come standard with S-bend extensions, which are 350mm long and are able to be cut down to suit your preference. The range of adjustment is 265mm at the longest, and 172mm at the shortest.

The carbon fiber forearm cradles feature four positions. They start at 35mm from the center and move in four increments of 12.78mm out to 108.34mm. If you put the armrests directly on the bar, the top of the armrest pad is 35mm above the bar. There's even an accessory 60mm riser for those who need their base bar much lower than their extensions.

The 3T Brezza Team I Handlebar is drilled for internal routing of brake cables and the hand rest is able to take any 19mm diameter external clamp or plug-style bar-end brake lever. It's available in one color in the color Gloss Black and in both a 40 and 42cm width.
