Arm warmers are designed to trap heat next to the body and shield your skin from the cold. The 2XU Compression Arm Sleeves do just the opposite, reflecting heat away from the body and pulling moisture off the skin, keeping you cooler than wearing nothing at all. That's right, these are made for spring and summertime rides.

The compression fit of the 2XU Compression Arm Sleeves reduces the effect of road vibrations on the muscles. Just as with other compression garments, this type of fit has the eventual effect of reducing muscle fatigue by promoting blood flow. Since roughly 40% of a cyclist's body weight is supported by the arms, compression fabrics for the arms are just as important as they are for the legs. And another summertime upside is their SPF 50 rating to protect you from the sun. Available in five sizes, Black only.

Here's what others have to say...

Compression what? Compression who?

I have the 2XU compression calf guards and love 'em. I wanted those guys to have some siblings so I purchased these. They fit well (I bought the small in white) and are supposed to be tight as they are compression. They shouldn't cut off your circulation but can't be loose either. Call the folks at Realcyclist for any questions. They rock and know their stuff.

Has anyone worn your product as a means...

Has anyone worn your product as a means of controlling lymphedema? [Lymphedema is swelling caused by damage or removal of lymph nodes (most often a result of cancer or its treatment)]

The answer to this could indeed provide other options for individuals who need to wear compression during their everyday activities.

    Thank you.

Although we are not the medical experts (as you know we are fabric experts that listen to what the medical experts tell us are the right ingredients to proper compression) we do have many customers that use 2XU compression as an alternative to the much less comfortable and less breathable medical products on the market.

With mmhg ratings between 18 and 40 the feedback from these customers has continued to be positive and they have seen an effective reduction in the swelling of their extremities as a result of lymphedema. We also have many of the top orthopedic specialists in the country from the Steadman Clinic in Vail to many local ortho's that regularly use and recommend 2XU compression to their patients for both injury prevention and recovery after surgery.

Please note that we know an Orthopedic Surgeon is not a surgeon specializing in lymphedema surgery and the related issues. But rather to show the support we are getting from the best doctors in the SPORTS MEDICINE field.
